About Us
Fiction is a multi-purpose entertainment venue in the heart of Canberra that provides flexibility to host anything from concerts, club nights, exhibitions, theatre, live art and innovative performances. Fiction is housed in an old renovated movie cinema with a charismatic industrial décor, designed in a two-tiered basement venue, catering for large capacities. With a high focus on creative, reliable, music entertainment, Fiction is the quintessential place for discovering emerging artists or supporting established ones. It is one of the region’s most aspirational platforms for Canberra’s clubbers.

Every Saturday the club is at full tilt, with both levels offering something unique to all who attend. The main room plays out all the latest and classic dance music, while Fact Bar delivers all your favourite RnB and Hip Hop all night long. Finely tuned and projected by CBR’s finest local selectors with the occasional surprise guest.
