What are your opening hours?
Fiction is open every Friday and Saturday night. Doors open at 10pm and we run until late. We also open for special events on public holiday eves and select weeknights — check our What's On page for the latest.
Where is Fiction located?
We're at 50 Bunda Street, Canberra ACT 2601 — right in the heart of Civic. The venue is a renovated cinema, so you can't miss it.
What is the age requirement?
Fiction is an 18+ venue. Valid photo ID is required for entry (driver's licence, passport, or proof of age card). No exceptions.
Is there a dress code?
Smart casual. We want you looking sharp but comfortable. Avoid thongs, singlets, and sportswear. Management reserves the right to refuse entry based on dress code at their discretion.
How do I buy tickets?
Tickets are available through our ticketing partner INTIX. You can grab them from the Tickets link on our website or directly at fctn.intix.com. Some events offer free entry before 11pm with a ticket.
How do I book a booth?
We offer Luxe Booth ($500) and High Roller Booth ($950) packages. Both include spirits, unlimited mixers, VIP area, and a dedicated booth host. Email contact@fctn.com.au to reserve.
Do you do birthday packages?
Yes! Our Birthday Package is completely free and includes free entry and a complimentary bar tab for the birthday person. Email contact@fctn.com.au to claim yours.
Can I hire Fiction for a private event?
Absolutely. Fiction hosts corporate events, private parties, live shows, product launches, and more. Get in touch at contact@fctn.com.au to discuss your event.
Is there accessible entry?
